My husband and I will be staying in Garden City on the 4th of July (on the back end of a 17 day cross country motorcycle trip) and would like to know where we might be able to enjoy local Independence Day celebrations and where we would be able to see fireworks.
Garden City -- 4th of July Fireworks
July 4 there is a large festival at the lee Richardson Zoo called, Zoobalee. In the evening there is a Municipal Band concert at the west end of the zoo, followed with fireworks choreographed to music.
I don%26#39;t know how well the fireworks goes over with the animals.
