Traveling to Kansas City end of September with friends for the 49er/Chiefs game. Any thoughts on where to stay, what to do? Looking for area near nightlife and dining.

To be near the nightlife, you will probably want to stay in Kansas City, Missouri. The greatest concentration of nightlife is from the Country Club Plaza area north toward the Missouri River.
The good dining is more scattered. What types of food are you looking for?

I second staying on the Plaza- you%26#39;ll have nightlife, shops, and many restraunts to chose from.
